La Paz deserves its name, standing on the wide bay of the Sea of Cortez, still a tranquil and very Mexican port. It has a preserved, nostalgic, "Old Baja" atmosphere that will draw you in and put you at ease. The East Cape, which is easily accessible by car, boat or private airplane, is a fishing village with beautiful hotels, restaurants, cafes, markets, a private airstrip and a lot of fishing boats. This is the ideal spot for a sport fishing adventure in an uncrowded atmosphere.

Our next stop is "El Triunfo," a place most locals refer to as "ghost town" - not because of scary ghost tales, but for the peaceful energy that radiates from its old walls. Once a mining town, the city is characterized by rustic abandoned homes. This is a great place to relax and reflect during a short historic visit.

Our next stop is "La Paz," where we shall visit an 18th Century Cathedral and an anthropology museum where you will see relics of the ancient peninsular inhabitants as well as cave/rock paintings. We will spend some time in the city's commercial area where you're able to purchase imported items tax free as well as authentic Mexican handcrafts.

After lunch our next stop is Todos Santos, an enchanting artists' town where many masters live to create their art. You'll experience a regional blend of contemporary and Mexican rustic art.

This tour is designed for those searching for something off the beaten path.
